  2. Eligibility for UG & PG

For UG :
Candidates pursuing 10+2 examination from any recognized board (CBSE, HSC, IBDP, ICSE, ISC etc.) or equivalent diploma from any discipline (e.g. Science, Commerce, Arts) with additional interest in Art & Design may apply.

For PG :
Candidates pursuing Bachelor’s Degree (12+4) from any recognized university or equivalent.

  6. Examination Pattern

Design Aptitude Test – Questions will be based on General Knowledge and observation skills, drawing, color, perception, visualization, contextual understanding etc.

Studio Test – Students will be given a task which will challenge student’s creativity through various aspects of design and activation of concept in 360 degree. Evaluation will be based on theme sketches, concept description and final 3D structure.

Portfolio Candidates are advised to carry relevant certificates, sketches, drawings etc.

Ability to develop and translate the design concept, along with their aptitude and skill for designing / drawing shall be the key criteria to evaluate the students for admission to various faculties of VU by the expert and experienced panel of juries/faculty members.
