UCEED

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay conducts Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design 2018 (UCEED 2018) under guidance of the UCEED Admissions Committee. Students aiming to secure admission in Bachelor of Degree programme (BDes) in IIT’s and other institutes need to appear for UCEED exam.

UCEED 2018 score is valid for admissions for the 2018-2019 session only. Students who have cleared UCEED need to apply for admissions separately to each college as per procedures laid out by the institute. Admissions in BDes course will be made as per merit list in each category.

UCEED 2018 exam is to be conducted on  January 20, 2018.  Candidates interested in studying B.Des from IIT-Bombay,IIT- Guwahati or IIITDM Jabalpur should apply for UCEED.

UCEED is designed to explore candidates reasoning and analytical skills, visualisation and spatial ability, observation and design sensitivity, general knowledge and current affairs, Language and creativity, design thinking and problem solving skills. Candidates looking at clearing the exam should practice on these areas extensively. Being one of them most sought after exams, competition in UCEED is stiff. However, with focused practice and planning students would be able to crack UCEED easily.

In 2018 more than five colleges would be accepting the scores of the design entrance exam to offer admission to aspirants.
