About UCEED
UCEED is the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design conducted by IIT Bombay. It is a qualifying examination for admission to Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes at IIT-Bombay, Guwahati, Hyderabad and IITDM-Jabalpur.

UCEED Paper Pattern
UCEED is a computer-based test. The examination will consist of two parts, Part-A and Part-B. Part-A contains objective questions of three types, i.e., Numerical Answer Type (NAT), Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) and Multiple Select Questions (MSQ). Total marks for Part A are 240 marks. In Part-B of UCEED is a subjective question, there will be 1 question that is of 60 marks, aimed at testing design & drawing skills. It’s a total 300 Marks Test.
UCEED Eligibility
Age limit: The candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 1996 if belonging to the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category and on or after October 1, 1991 if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category
Number of attempts: A candidate can attempt UCEED for a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years. Note that UCEED score is valid for one year, and only for admissions in the same corresponding academic year
Qualifying Examination: The candidate should have passed in all subjects in the Qualifying Examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2020, OR should be appearing for the qualifying examination in 2021 in order to be eligible to attempting UCEED 2021. Students from ALL STREAMS (Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible.
Candidates appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination in 2019 or earlier are NOT eligible.
