UCEED 2021
Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design is popularly known as UCEED. It is an entrance exam conducted to provide admission to qualified applicants. Applicants who score more marks than the cut off marks are eligible to get admission in Bachelor of Design (B.Des) course. The duration of the course is four years.
The entrance exam will be conducted at the national level. Applicants will get admission in the above-mentioned course only if they satisfy the eligibility criteria set by the university.
IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIITDM Jabalpur are the universities will offer admission to the qualified applicants on the basis of the UCEED scorecard. IIT Bombay is the conducting authority to organize the entrance exam for the applicants under UCEED – CEED implementation committee. The entrance exam is organized every year.

UCEED 2021 Application Form
The application form needs to be filled and submitted via online mode only. Applicants can start filing the application form in the month of October 2019.
Applicants are instructed to fill and submit the duly filled application form till November 2019. At the time of filing the application form, applicants need to enter all the required details and select three cities according to their preference.
Information in the application form should be filled correctly and accurately. The information provided in the application form will be used for further admission procedure. Authority will directly reject the application form of the applicants if they found any wrong information in the application form.
A copy of the duly filled application form should be taken once the form is filled for further use. Applicants are requested to submit the application form on the official website itself once the form is filled correctly.
Application Fee
The important information related to the application fee is listed below for the reference of the applicants:
- After successfully filing the form applicants need to pay the application fee.
- The application fee is different for each category.
- Applicants can pay the application fee through online mode by debit card, credit card or net banking feature.
- No other mode will be accepted for payment of application fee.
- Applicants must note that the fee once paid will not be refundable and will not be possible to transfer again.

UCEED 2021 Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality:
- Indian citizens, as well as applicants who are NRI, OCI (overseas citizen of India), and PIO (person of Indian origin), are also eligible to appear for the entrance exam.
- Age criteria:
- Applicants who are above the age of 18 years (23 years for reserved category) are eligible to appear for the entrance exam.
- Educational qualification:
- At least HSC exam should be completed from a known university or board.
- Stream:
- The applicant can complete the HSC exam in any stream from science, commerce or arts, and
- Appearing applicants:
- Applicants who are in process of the final exam of the HSC exam are eligible to appear for the exam.
UCEED 2021 Exam Pattern
The important information related to the paper pattern for the entrance exam is listed below for the reference of the applicants:
- Mode of the exam: The entrance exam will be conducted in online mode.
- Duration of the exam: Three hours will be given to the applicants to solve the paper.
- Maximum marks: 300 marks question paper will be asked in the entrance exam.
- Section: The question paper contains three sections.
- Type of questions: Numerical Answer Type (NAT) and multiple-choice Questions (MCQ) will be asked in the question paper.
- Marking scheme: Section A and B will get four marks for each correct answer and three marks will be given for right answers in section C.
- Negative markings: No provision for negative marking in section A and B, one mark will deduct for an incorrect answer in section C.

UCEED 2021 Exam Admit Card
The important information related to the releasing of the admit card is listed below for the reference of the applicants:
- Admit card will be downloaded by those applicants who have successfully submitted the application form and have completed the registration process.
- Admit card will be available in online mode on the official website of the university.
- Applicants need to visit the official website of the university using the login credentials generated at the time of registration.
- Applicants will be able to download the admit card in the month of December 2019.
- Applicants are instructed to check the information printed on the application form.
- If any mistake is found in the application form, applicants should bring it to the notice of the board by the month of January 2021.
- Applicants are instructed to keep some copies of the downloaded admit card for future usage.
- Applicants who are not able to download the admit card from the website are instructed to bring it to the notice of the chairman, JEE (Advance) UCEED and CEED 2021 at IIT Bombay immediately by email or phone.

UCEED 2021 Exam Results
The important information related to the declaration of the results is listed below for the reference of the applicants:
- Applicants will be able to get the results in the month of February 2021.
- Results will be announced in online mode on the official website of the university.
- Applicants need to visit the official website of the university in order to see the results using the login credentials (user Id and password).
- Applicants are instructed to download the result from the website and keep some copies of the same.
- Along with the declaration of the results, authorities will prepare a rank list of the applicants.
- Rank list will be made on the basis of the marks achieved by the applicant in the entrance exam.
- Applicants are instructed to keep the result safely as it will be needed for further admission procedure.
UCEED 2021 Exam Counselling
The important information related to the counselling process is listed below for the reference of the applicants:
- Authority will invite applicants for further admission procedure after the declaration of the results.
- Counselling session will be based on the rank list prepared by the authority.
- Applicants whose name has appeared in the rank list are eligible to appear for the counselling round.
- At the time of counselling, applicants need to choose the course and college according to their choice in the admission form.
- Applicants are instructed to pay the admission fee at the time fo counselling.
- Authority will allot seats to the applicants in the counselling process.
- The seats will be allowed on the basis of filled choice, rank list and marks obtained in the entrance exam.
- Applicants are instructed to report to the allotted college once the seats are allocated.
