MIT Institute of Design Indore is India’s first Design Centered University, promoted by MIT Group of Institutions, Pune. DESIGN here is an active verb and not a passive noun.

Our academic programs are led by DICE: Design, Innovation, Creativity, and Enterprise, with an interdisciplinary curriculum and experiential learning at the core. The unique academic model is based on an integrated trans-disciplinary approach that harmoniously blends design thinking and creative spirit with engineering on a solid foundation of management.

MIT Institute of Design Indore is conceived to be a distinctive learning center and the project-based education framework is developed by a team of passionate and proven professionals and academicians mentored by Professor Emeritus Kirti Trivedi. He is a veteran academician from the Design Fraternity with over three decades of experience and is India’s first MDes.

The faculty members at MIT ID Indore come from a rich background in academia and industry experience. They hone the students and leave no stone unturned to empower them to become ready for the future in addition to inclusive teaching at all levels of learning. Apart from regular faculty, we provide adequate facilities and opportunities that aim to invite bright and insightful visiting faculty from around the world to enrich and enhance the learning experience for the students. There is an overall diverse mix of faculty members with well-aligned values and innovative ideas.

Placements are a vital part of the academic journey for any existing program. Last academic year, the students got exposure to more than 150 reputed companies for their placement interviews. The students eligible for placements are trained, mentored, and prepared for their interviews under the Career Services team. Over the years, we have proven to provide an environment where students have bagged stunning placements all over the country, as well as in various parts of the world.
