Istituto Marangoni
Istituto Marangoni was founded in 1935 in Milano as ‘Istituto Artistico dell’Abbigliamento Marangoni’ and in 2015 it reaches a special milestone, 80 years of history and success in training the top professionals of Fashion and Design. Istituto Marangoni can praise itself for the education of four generations of students from 5 continents and for having launched over 45,000 professionals in fashion and luxury fields, such as Domenico Dolce (Dolce & Gabbana) and Franco Moschino. It currently educates 4,000 students per year from 106 countries at its schools, located in Milano (the School of Fashion and the School of Design), Paris, London and Shanghai, the international capitals of fashion, design and luxury. The second Istituto Marangoni in China is opening in September in Shenzhen, the key reference point for clothing and furniture production. Undergraduate Progression Programmes
Progression Programmes are groups of specialised learning blocks or ‘levels’ that prepare participants with the skills and knowledge to enter the fashion industry. Each course is structured in two (2) distinct levels ranging from a foundation introductory level, working through to a higher comprehension of skill and study. This enables for ‘ exible learning’ whereby the participant can choose when to build on their experience, by progressing from one level to another, giving them complete control on their own progress and achievement.
Edu/Professional Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent
Age: Minimum 18

Postgraduate Programmes
Postgraduate Programmes are aimed at candidates that have previous undergraduate study in economics, marketing, fashion design or similar, or proven relevant work experience, who are looking to further enhance their skill and knowledge in their chosen subject area.
The curriculum is structured in two (2) distinct levels. Just as for progression programmes, this enables for ‘ exible learning’ by progressing from one level to another, giving participants complete control on their own progress and achievement. Istituto Marangoni’s suite of executive
courses offers Training programmes for individuals wishing to undertake a professional training quali cation outside of their normal working hours.
All executive courses are held over the weekends.
Edu/Professional Requirements: University degree or equivalent study in marketing, economics, fashion design with marketing or similar, or alternatively an adequate professional knowledge with proven work experience in these elds (3 years experience would be recommended).

Executive Short Courses
Updating skills and expertise is one of the most important steps in the life of today’s business professionals, who want to specialise and advance in their future career. For individuals wishing to undertake a professional level training course outside of their normal working hours, these short courses are held over 2 or 3 weekends.
