Indian School of Design & Innovation (ISDI) is one of India’s leading design school based in the heart of Mumbai in the urban neighborhood of Lower Parel Innovation District (LPID). Since 2013, ISDI is home to the creative community in Mumbai buzzing with over a 1500 future design innovators and is frequently visited by the quintessential artists, designers, film-makers, photographers, innovators & entrepreneurs of the tinsel town Mumbai & from across India.

ISDI is committed to a new model of cutting edge design and innovation education, integrated with commercialization of design. The ISDI method of pedagogy is based on intensive specialization built on strong fundamentals of liberal arts, critical thinking, skill training and master classes.

With a strong industry connect program, ISDI connects studio based learning to the real world with observerships,
apprenticeships and internships every summer from first through the third year. 2. Eligibility for UG & PG

For UG :Candidates currently in the 12th grade & will be appearing for a 10 + 2 examination (e.g. IGCSE- A levels, CBSE, HSC, IBDP, ISC etc.), or its educational equivalent in any discipline (e.g.: Science, Commerce, Arts) with an interest in Design & Innovation are eligible to apply. The upper age limit is 21 years at the time of application.

For PG :Pursuing graduation or who have completed undergraduate degree/diploma (12 + 3 years) in any
discipline are eligible to apply.

UG : 60 Per Stream
PG : 30 Per Stream

6. Examination Pattern

Undergraduate:
The Undergraduate ISDI Challenge will have 2 Phases and both these will happen on the same day.

Phase 1 will have Creative Aptitude Test ( Originality of Idea, Perspective of Drawing, Story Telling Ability, Observational Skills, Imagination and Ideation, Sense of Composition, Illustration Skills, Writing Ability) + Design Studio (Ability to meet specific requirements within the constrains material given )- 2.5 hours
Phase 2 will have Portfolio Review (Original Idea (Own Work), Should include – 2D, 3D, Sketch, Photograph, etc.) + Interview – 15 mins

Postgraduate:
The Postgraduate ISDI Challenge will have 2 Phases and both these will happen on the same day.

Phase 1 will have Creative Aptitude Test (Case Study – Real Time, Situation Handling, Ability on Research and Writing, Lateral Thinking, Open minded to learn new things) – 1.5 hours
Phase 2 will have Personal Interview – 15 mins
