NIFT Result 2026 is OUT – Check it Out Now

NIFT Result 2026 of the first written exam for Bachelors of Design ( B.Design ) , Master of Design ( M.Design ), Master of Fashion Technology ( M.FTech ) and Master of Fashion Management ( MFM ) is announced on 20th March. The results of B.F.Tech. Programmes will be declared in last week of April, 2026 along-with the Final Results of all other UG & PG Programmes.

The shortlisted candidates for B.Design will have to appear for situation test and for M.Design, M.FTech and MFM will have to appear for Personal Interview (PI). Interviews for the Masters Programmes (Master of Design, Master of Fashion Management and Master of Fashion Technology) are scheduled between April, 2026 in Delhi.

The stage 2 exam -Situation Test will be scheduled in April, 2026. The final result will be announced in May/June.

B.FTech admission is based on the written exam-GAT. It is the final test for selection. After results announcement candidates will be given the counselling schedule for final admission procedures.

Below are the steps listed to check the NIFT 2024 entrance exam:

Step 1 – Click on the official website of NIFT- https://nift.ntaonline.in and then go to NIFT scorecard link

• Step 2 – The candidate can check the score card by filling the below details
  Application No
• Date of birth

Step 3 – Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 4 – The result will reflect on the screen that contains details as follows:

• Roll number
• Application number
• Candidate’s name
• Father’s name
• Gender
• Mother’s name
• Date of birth
• Category
• Program Applied
• Photograph
• Result Remark

If the student is shortlisted he / she will get Result as –Qualified for the Situation test or Personal Interview (PI) . If disqualified – you will get a remark not qualified.

The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of following weightage:

1. After declaration of the NIFT final results, qualified candidates will be called for Counselling based on the Common Merit Rank (CMR) received in the final NIFT Result. The dates for Counselling will be June 2024.
2. Registration is mandatory for attending the counselling.
3. Registration Link for NIFT Counselling 2024 will be available at NIFT Websitehttps://nift.ntaonline.in
4. Candidates will have to keep ready all the documents and Annexures/ Formats given on the NIFT website and will have to upload all the documents for the counselling process.
5. The candidate will have to fill the preference of the centres and courses as per the interest.
6. Based on the preferences entered by the candidate, the candidate is notified about the centre allotted to him / her.

• NIFT cutoff is the last rank that is offered admission in courses offered at different NIFT campuses.
• The opening and closing rank will vary for different NIFT Campuses.
• The NIFT Cutoff 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019 can be referred to understand till what rank the candidate’s secured admission in various NIFT Campuses in the past years.
