The shortlisted candidates for B.Design admission will have to appear for situation test and for M.Design, M.FTech and MFM will have to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI).
The registration for Stage 2 exam which will start from fourth week of March to first week of April. The final result will be announced in May/June.
B.FTech admission is based on the written exam-GAT. It is the final test for selection. After results announcement candidates will be given the counselling schedule for final admission procedures.

Step 2 – The candidate will be redirected to a dashboard that will ask a candidate to enter any of the two details below:

Step 4 – The result will reflect on the screen that contains details as follows:

- After declaration of the NIFT final results, qualified candidates will be called for Counselling based on the Common Merit Rank (CMR) received in the final NIFT Result. The dates for Counselling will be June/ July 2022.
- Registration is mandatory for attending the counseling.
- Registration Link for NIFT Counseling 2022 will be available at NIFT Website nift.ac.in
- Candidates will have to keep ready all the documents and Annexures/ Formats given on the NIFT website before appearing for the Counselling.
- Based on the CMR, Student will be allotted the dates for Counseling and during the counseling they will be shown the choices to select the Course and NIFT Campus. At the time of Counselling, the Campus/Course/Category-wise seat availability chart will be displayed. Candidates are called in order of the merit rank and offered the seat available at that point of time. Accordingly the candidate can fix the course and campus at the time of Counselling.
- NIFT cutoff is the last rank that is offered admission in courses offered at different NIFT campuses.
- The opening and closing rank will vary for differentNIFT Campuses.
- The NIFT Cutoff 2021 can be referred to understand till what rank the candidate’s secured admission in various NIFT Campuses in year 2021. The cut-off marks will be released after the declaration of final NIFT Result 2022.
