NID 2023 Result will be announced Online. NID conducts its exam in two phases. Phase I consists of DAT Prelims while Phase II consists of DAT (Design Aptitude Test) Mains. On the basis of these exams, students are selected for all the seven NID campuses. NID offers professional educational programs for bachelor and masters’s levels with five faculty streams and 19 design domains. Currently, a Ph.D. Programme of 5 years has been introduced by the NID campus at Ahmedabad.
The result of NID DAT Prelims 2023 Result for B.Des Programme will be declared on 30th March 2023.For M.Des programmes, the result will be announced on 28th February 2023.
The NID Results Prelims 2023 will be declared through online mode only. There is no other mode available to download the NID scorecard. The scorecard is considered valid for the current year only. The candidate needs to log in to the official website and enter their registered details to check their result of NID on https://admissions.nid.edu/NIDA2023/Default.aspx.
The final merit list for the NID 2023 will be prepared by the NID authorities after the successful completion of both tests.
All the details including the qualifying status are mentioned on the candidate’s result on the scorecard. Later on, the cut-offs for all categories are released by the authorities. After the declaration of NID Result 2023, NID Cut Off 2023 will be declared online. The results will be separate for each category. For the reserved category, there will be relaxation in cut-offs.
The further admission process for NID 2023 dates will be announced, once the both the NID Results 2023 are declared.

Candidates need to appear for NID/DAT Prelims to secure admission in the B.Des course which is offered at NID Campuses. The candidate can appear for NID DAT Mains, only if they are shortlisted in the NID Prelims.

P.S: Due to COVID situations during 2021, NID had to cancel its Studio test round and conduct Online Interaction with submission of Theme Poster and Portfolio for B.Des and Statement of Purpose (SoP) with Digital Portfolio for M.Des.
NID DAT MAINS 2023 Exam Pattern
NID DAT Mains (Studio test) is conducted to judge the creative skills of a candidate. A student’s view towards the design and their presence with the help of a series of tests are conducted at the NID campus. B.Des students have to appear for Studio Test and Intra Personal Interview Test while M.Des students have to appear for Studio Test, personal interview and portfolio review.

NID DAT merit list is prepared according to diverse categories. There are different merit lists for diverse categories i.e. General, OBC, SC, ST, and PWD. The final merit list is based on the total sum of the weighted scores secured by the candidate at each stage of the admission procedure.
